For the 2nd year in a row, Quality Stone Concepts has been awarded the prestigious Sunburst Award from the Virginia Beach Education Foundation. As a “Go Beyond Contributor” QSC was recognized as one of the only local company to contribute between $25,000-$50,000 in total contributions.
QSC President and VB Education Foundation Board member, Tony Pirrone recieves the award at the Sandler Center.
As we continue to be a major contributor to the 25th Street Housing project, we have also underwritten our first grant through the foundation. We are pleased to announce that Salem High School was awarded $1000 for their “A Cleaner, Greener Cut” project.
By combining workplace readiness skills, sustainability concepts and STEM, this project will have students working in a simulated business atmosphere to troubleshoot, repair and tune small 4-cycle gasoline engines to run cleanly.
Congrats Jeffrey Kline and Charles Kinnison.
